An appointment of an hour (without
obligation) to discuss requirements, timescale and budget, and to look at our portfolios
of designs, photographs and discuss fabrics. We may need to prepare more sketches and/or
source fabric.
When the bride chooses the style and fabric we need to take her measurements. We then ask
for a deposit of 1/2 the price of the dress. The next visit is to fit the dress in calico.
Normally two or three fittings are required after this.
We usually need 5/6 months to make a dress as we aim to have the dress ready at least a
month before the wedding. We can of course sometimes work to a shorter timescale if
necessary. |
